Build a raised garden bed in a weekend

No fancy tools required. This is the simple raised bed we build again and again — sturdy, tidy, and ready to plant the next day.

What you’ll need

Four boards, a handful of screws, a drill and a level. A flat-pack kit works too if you’d rather skip the cutting.

Fill it right

Layer coarse material at the base, then a good vegetable mix on top. Water it in and let it settle overnight before planting.
