Warm neutrals and soft, earthy greens are having a moment. We asked three designers what they’re actually specifying on real jobs.

Warm over cool

The cold greys of the last decade are out. In their place: putty, mushroom and oat — neutrals with a warm undertone that flatter natural light.

Green, gently

Sage and olive are turning up on cabinetry and feature walls. Kept muted, they read as a soft neutral rather than a bold colour.
